The booze cruise to begin all booze cruises. All dates and times are provisional.Saturday 2nd MayAfter making your way from wherever you might live, we will arrive in Wexford town at the Ferrybank Caravan and Camping Park on Saturday evening. The campsite is only 10 minutes walk from the main street of Wexford town and has a host of emenities such as 24 hour supervision, toilets, showers, wheelchair facilities, ice-pack freezing, children's play area, TV room, laundry and electricity hook-ups. Most importantly there are 40 pubs within stumbling distance. We don't even have to be up early the next morning....Sunday 3rd MayIt is a very short spin from Wexford to the ferry port at Rosslare where we will board the 4pm sailing to Cherbourg with Irish Ferries. The Irish Ferries vessel Normandy with be our home for the night with shops, pubs, restaurants, a casino, and a cinema all on board. A cabin is included in the ferry price.Monday 4th May (Irish Bank Holiday)We arrive in France at 11.30am for a few frantic hours of wine buying and snail eating. Cherbourge has many hypermarkets and wine specialists where the savings on a bottle of wine can be about ?5 compared to Irish prices. At 6pm we depart France for the return leg to Rosslare. This day is not a public holiday in France so all the shops should be open. We arrive back in Rosslare at 11.30am on Tuesday.CostCampite :: Approx. ?20 per unit depending on what you are bringing. Ferry :: Approx. ?250 for vehicle and two passengers depending on size of vehicle. Include basic en-suite cabin.
